An appeal to God’s “generals”:

If America is not fundamentally and historically a Christian nation, why do Judeo-Christian symbols and scriptures permeate the landscape of American government?

Why did so many of our founders and founding documents refer to God, His Holy Word, and Jesus Christ?

Why have so many previous American presidents referred to America as a Christian nation?

Why do our present leaders so often say, “and may God bless America”?

Why do they publicly profess themselves to be Christians when running for office?

How can a nation where over 70% of the population call themselves “Christian”, not be considered a Christian nation?

How can we be considered a “secular” nation when our ideals and values are rooted in Judeo-Christian tradition?

It is one thing for Christian leaders to warn of encroaching secularism; it is another thing indeed for the head-of-state to hold secularism forth as a banner over America while declaring that America is no longer a Christian nation! Ours is not a political agenda; it is spiritual. This is not a vendetta against our president; we sincerely pray that He becomes led by the hand of God along a path of righteousness. We pray that he is successful as he follows the leading of God.

Let the church rise up and be heard!

We are one little church of about 300 members but God has “led” us to contact major denominational leaders and the leaders of major parachurch ministries. We need your help. We do not have the resources to promote a national project by traditional methods. Our goal is to roll THE DECLARATION OF DEPENDENCE PROJECT out in at least 1000 churches in July, a month in which we celebrate freedom in America.

They are a great tool to encourage believers to spread the word about the project. This must be a grassroots effort which spreads like wildfire with the cooperation of God’s “generals” and the inspiring breath of the Spirit. You will help determine the success or failure of the project.
